Graduation & Commencement at Kansas Wesleyan University

Graduation marks the completion of your college experiences and challenging academics here at Kansas Wesleyan University, but even more so it commemorates the beginning of your promising future. The Commencement and Baccalaureate ceremonies for students who will complete their degree in Fall 2013 (October or December), Spring 2014 (March or May), or Summer 2014 (July) will be Saturday May 10, 2014 in the Mabee Arena at Kansas Wesleyan University. You should also plan to attend the Commencement Rehearsal Friday May 9 at 3:00pm in Mabee followed by the Senior Barbeque.
All students must apply for graduation by submitting an online or paper application. This will provide us with information about the completion of your graduation requirements and participation in the commencement ceremony.
Before you submit your application for graduation please be sure that you have:
- Completed or registered for all coursework required for your degree. Review your Degree Audit on MyKWU and/or meet with your advisor to verify that you have met or will meet your degree requirements by your anticipated graduation date.
- Submitted all official transcripts, CLEP Scores, and paperwork (i.e. internship applications, course substitution forms, etc). for which you should receive credit toward your degree.
- Completed or are scheduled to complete your Financial Aid Exit Loan Counseling, your KWU Exit Interview, and your senior departmental exam (if required).
Diplomas are mailed to students within a few weeks after the end of the semester in which all degree requirements are completed.
