Focus 2 offers numerous ways for individuals to explore and develop career options and goals. Some of the ways you may use Focus 2 is exploring career and educational goals, academic strengths, defining accomplishments, your career planning status and your personal development needs. Tools within the Focus 2 system that will help you discover directions to explore are a work interest assessment, leisure interest assessment, skills assessment, personality assessment, and values assessment. Once these assessments are complete you can narrow your results by combining the results of multiple assessments.
Through Focus 2 you can explore possible career options searching them by name, industry, and by majors. You can also compare two occupations you find side by side interesting to see which best meets you interests, and goals.
With Focus 2 you can build a Personal Portfolio where you can review/update saved occupations, review/update saved majors, and review and print. Access resource links to career development sites such as Peterson’s where you can explore colleges, universities, and graduate schools across the nation. A large variety of job links are also available covering areas such as national, state and local, military, federal and local government, industry specific, specialty (e.g. for people with disabilities), and much more.
