Author Visit: Dr. David Nichols

Dr. David Nichols will give a presentation on his book "Ike and McCarthy: Dwight Eisenhower's Secret Campaign Against Joseph McCarthy." 

Nichols, a leading expert on the Eisenhower presidency, holds a Ph.D. in history from the College of William and Mary. A former professor and academic dean at Southwestern College, he also is the author of "A Matter of Justice: Eisenhower and the Beginning of the Civil Right Revolution," "Eisenhower 1965: The President's Year of Crisis" and others. 

Copies of "Ike and McCarthy" will be available to purchase. This author visit is presented in partnership with the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library and is free and open to the public.
