SkyWatch —Webb Space Telescope

The next SkyWatch program will include an update on the James Webb Space Telescope, presented by Dr. Dorothy Hanna. Planned for launch in 2018, the James Webb Space Telescope will look back in time to see the first galaxies that formed in the early universe and peer inside dust clouds where stars and planetary systems are forming today.  

There will be light refreshments after the talk and observatory viewing of the night sky, weather permitting. The program is free and open to the public

The program is hosted by the Salina Astronomy Club (SAC).
