Director of Nursing Education to Speak at Alumni Lunch

The Salina Chapter of the Kansas Wesleyan University Alumni Association will host its quarterly luncheon on Brown Mezzanine in the KWU Student Activities Center, at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 13. Guest speaker will be Janeane Houchin, director of nursing education, chair of the division of nursing education and health sciences and Salina Regional Health Center endowed chair of nursing education.
Houchin joined KWU in June 2015. She has taught in nursing education for nine years, was a nursing manager for a Salina home health agency and worked in acute care in the Kansas City area before moving to Salina. She has a master’s degree in nursing from South University, Savannah, GA, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from University of Kansas and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Baker University.
All alumni and others interested in KWU are invited. The luncheon costs $10 per person. RSVP by Monday, July 10, to firstname.lastname@example.org or 785-833-4339.
