Kansas Wesleyan University will host “May Our Voices Ring True,” an event with Huascar Medina, Poet Laureate of Kansas, on Dec. 2 at noon in Fitzpatrick Auditorium on campus. Members of the community are invited to attend the free program, which is available due to the support of Humanities Kansas.
The event’s noon start time allows for 30 minutes of open-mic time for the community. Guidelines on time limit and number of speakers will be enforced, after which Medina will begin his presentation. The complete event is scheduled to last until 1:30 p.m.
