Kansas Wesleyan University traveled to Boise State University from March 21-25 for the Pi Kappa Delta National Tournament and Convention, the largest national debate and forensic tournament in the U.S. They competed against close to 100 universities and colleges. Many of the events had more than 200 entries. Kansas Wesleyan University was well represented, and at the end of the tournament, the university school placed 15th out of all the schools in debate competition.
Individual Event placings:
Freshman Megan Kline led the way in individual events by placing 13th in informative speaking, 21st in extemporaneous speaking, and 30th in impromptu speaking. Junior Dakota Yates placed 28th in impromptu speaking.

In parliamentary debate, Dakota Yates and Senior Alex Vore placed seventh in the varsity division, and Sophomore Autumn Zimmerman and Megan Kline placed seventh in the junior varsity division.
In international parliamentary debate, Freshman Dani Disney placed eleventh in the novice division.
