One of the most recognizable forms of music comes back to Salina on Nov. 1, when Kansas Wesleyan hosts All That Jazz at the Salina Country Club. The second-annual event gets underway at 7 p.m, and will feature performances from regional band Jazz Tangent and the KWU Jazz Band, among others.
“We’re excited to make All That Jazz an annual event,” said Dr. Milt Allen, chair of the KWU Department of Music. “It’s a great opportunity for our students to participate in this type of event alongside professional musicians, all while raising support for our music program. We look forward to providing Salina with another great night of music!”
Tickets are $50 and include heavy hors d’oeuvres. A cash bar will also be available, and a live auction will be held to benefit the KWU Music Department. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.kwu.edu/boxoffice.
