Saline County Workforce Development Program
The Saline County Workforce Development Program is a joint venture between KWU, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office and the Salina Police Department.
This program is made possible by Executive Order 11246, Saline County and the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Only individuals with the sheriff’s office and police department are eligible for this program.

- Two eight-week online courses per semester
- Classes begin August 15 (applications are due May 15, transcripts are due July 15)
- Manageable course load for working professionals
- Three certificate programs available, which can be building blocks to help you complete your bachelor’s degree at KWU
- Classes will be taught by local professors who have worked in the field
